Opening a BetNinja Account and Passing Verification
An account at BetNinja is opened with personal details, and it stays restricted in what it can do until those details are confirmed. Our standard is simple: the name on the account must belong to the person who plays, banks and withdraws. Everything we ask during registration and later verification serves that single rule.
Sign up| Stage | What we check | What you provide |
|---|---|---|
| Opening the account | Age and contact details | Name, date of birth, address, email, telephone |
| Before a first withdrawal | Identity and address | Photo identity document, proof of address |
| Adding a payment method | Ownership of the method | Card or wallet evidence in your name |
What we need to open an account
Only one account is permitted for each person, household and payment method. If you already hold an account with us, use the password reset instead of registering again.
We ask for:
- your full name, as it appears on your identity document;
- your date of birth;
- your residential address;
- an email address and a telephone number;
- a password that you use nowhere else.
After the form is sent
You receive a confirmation message by email, and the account becomes usable. Depositing is possible straight away, subject to the checks that apply. Withdrawals require completed verification, so the earlier you submit documents, the shorter the wait when you first request a payout.
After submission:
- you receive a confirmation message by email;
- the account can be used at once;
- deposits are possible, subject to the checks that apply;
- withdrawals wait for completed verification.
What triggers additional verification
Verification is not a single event. We check at registration, and we check again when the activity on the account changes. The usual triggers are set out here.
| Trigger | Why we review | What we may ask for |
|---|---|---|
| First withdrawal request | Payout goes to the verified holder only | Photo ID, proof of address |
| New payment method added | Confirms the method belongs to you | Card or e-wallet screenshot with details partly hidden |
| Details differ from documents | Name, date or address mismatch | Corrected profile or a fresh document |
| Large or unusual transactions | Protection against misuse of the account | Source-of-funds information |
| Access from a new device or place | Protection against takeover | Confirmation of identity |
| Bonus use that looks irregular | Fair play on offers | Review of the account history |
Documents that are accepted
Identity: a valid passport or a photocard driving licence. Address: a utility bill or bank statement showing your name and residential address, issued recently. Payment ownership: a clear image of the card with the middle digits covered, or a screenshot of the e-wallet profile showing your name.
Images must show all four corners of the document, be sharp, and be unedited. Expired documents are not accepted.
How to submit and what to expect
- Sign in and open the profile section.
- Choose the document type from the list.
- Upload clear images of the front and, where relevant, the reverse.
- Wait for our confirmation message in your inbox and in the account.
- If we ask for something further, answer in the same thread so the file stays together.
The time a review takes depends on how clear the documents are and on the volume of requests, so we do not promise a fixed hour. Mismatched or blurred images are the most common reason for a second request.
Mistakes that slow an account down
A different spelling of the name than the document carries, a photo taken in poor light, and a proof of address that does not show a full address are the three recurring causes. A fourth is depositing through a card that belongs to another person. We cannot approve withdrawals to a method held by someone else.
The three recurring causes of delay are:
- a name that differs from the document;
- a photograph in poor light;
- a proof of address that omits the full address.
Payment ownership and the name rule
A card must carry the name on the profile and an e-wallet must be registered to you. Where the holder does not match, we pause the transaction and ask for evidence.
Keeping the account secure
Choose a password you use nowhere else and do not share your login. If you suspect someone has used your account, write to [email protected] at once so that we can restrict it while we investigate.
To keep the account secure:
- use a unique password;
- do not share your login;
- log out on shared devices;
- write to us at once if you suspect misuse.
